Brianna(Bree) grew up in the small town of Foley in Minnesota. On July 5th, 1986, she was born to Steve and Amy, just 11 months and 6 days after her older sister Nicole. Making them Irish twins. She was a surprise, to say the least. Her sister Corin was born five years later, making her the middle child. Yes, she does have some middle-child problems.

Growing up, she was not one to sit still. Playing outside with her sisters and the neighborhood kids most of the time. The make-believe and games that they would play kept her pretty busy. The only way to get Bree to slow down was with a book. She would be found in her room or on the sofa with one of her books from an early age. Bree would ride her bike with her sisters to the local library for the summer reading program many days. 

The reading program sparked her interest in many different types of books, but the ones that always held her interest the longest were fantasy and romance novels. To go to one of these far-off places was not just an escape from the mundane summer but to experience an adventure. (For there isn’t much to do in a small town.)

She was accepted into North Dakota State University (NDSU) when she graduated from high school. Bree obtained a bachelor's in Fine Arts emphasis in stained glass and sculpture.
It was a crazy ride through college but well-earned.

During her time after her freshmen year at NDSU, she met the love of her life, Ben. He is a Pharmacist. Her father (the former cop) likes to call him a glorified drug dealer. He graduated from NDSU a semester before Bree but set up a life for them in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She graduated and followed him. Where their family would grow.

Zoey was born a year later, making her a mom with her brother Liam following her two years later. They are the lights of her life and her most significant accomplishments. 

During the pandemic, they decided to sell their house and build a dream home for the family that will work for them now and in the future for Liam(he is special needs). When they were building the house, they had to stay in a rental, which meant no more studio(stained glass) for a while. Having her source of creativity on hold for a time was not something that Bree was used to.

One day, as she reads yet another book, she thinks back to all the stories and daydreaming she has done. Many times she has voiced them to her husband and her family. They always said she had an overactive imagination. Even when she was a kid, her family and teachers would comment on it. This got Bree thinking, why not use it?

She started with just trying to write a short story, and then from there, the planning came of the different characters and city. They got so extensive that the story in her head kept growing. Every day she would sit down with her kids playing around her to write that summer and fall. In the end, she couldn’t believe it. She has written a book! Not just a book but the first of a series.
